Way to come back after a tough loss Saturday with 13 hits and 13 runs! Great effort tonight Dom's. Still not a strong defensive showing, so we have some work to do. Congrats to Daniel for getting his first 2 hits of the season, and to Alex K, Sean and Nick for going 2-3. Nice job!		Choppers were fighting back all the way, after getting behind early. Although we never caught up, the boys were hitting the ball, getting runners on base, and really hustling on the base paths. Special Congrats to Justin Tervay for "turning two" in the top of the 6th inning. __________________________________ HITTERS: Congrats to Luke Hamel who went 2 for 3 on the night, with a single in the 1st and a solidly hit double to deep right field in the 3rd. Also notable hitters: - Dan Lue was 2 for 2, hit by a pitch and scored all three times on base. - Joey Kirker continues to keep the hitting streak going with a solidly hit single in the 3rd. - Tyler Roach had a single in the 3rd and scored. - Justin Tervay can't seem to NOT hit the ball, getting on base after hustling and beating out the infield throw. ________________________________ PITCHING: Solid pitching by all 3 pitchers. Danny Kaloustian - 4 strikeouts and only 1 walk in 2 innings. Tyler Roach - 3 stikeouts and 2 walks (and caught a fly ball in the 4th to get us out of the inning) Gary Pivoda - forced the pop-up for the unassisted double play, getting the first two batters out in the top of the 6th. __________________________________ What a weekend - Great job, but we still have a lot to work on for the upcoming Saturday game against TNT!
