Playing under the lights is a great experience for these boys - on both teams! And they really did enjoy it. Pitching, Pitching, Pitching - a total of 10 pitchers in 5 innings between both teams, call Guinness. It must be close to the record! All 10 did a terrific job on the mound. Gary Pivoda did an exceptional job on the mound in the late innings! Great outing for his first trip to the mound!! Gary also provided some key defense during the game - Way to go! Chopper bats were still a little cold, but we did manage to get base runners around the diamond in the 4th and 5th innings. Special shout out to Luke Hamel for his outstanding defensive plays on 2B. Great job to all the Choppers! Thanks to the players of Capital Region Orthopedics "Bones", coach Burke and Koshgarian for a great game.
