		Our hats go off to our tough Beyond Style opponents. Each time we play it has been a nail biter! The game ball goes to both our starter and our closer. For their clutch performance on the mound, we will now refer to this tandem as Batman & Robin. Dan Decenzo and Ian Tolmie were phenomenal and it is exciting to see their confidence grow! Making nice catches in the outfield and keeping us in the game were Nino Ortega, Ryan Deitz and Quadir Phillips (our outfield is crucial to the success of the team). Our infielders who made nice plays to stave off our worthy opponents were Mike McFerran, Dan Decenzo, and Peter Barth. Peter McKenna is our team captain, savior and warrior behind the plate, while Donald Henzel continues making beautiful plays at first. Phillips amazed us with moon shot that almost left the yard! Even coach Tolmie stood looking at that blast! Ian Tolmie helped get his first win in Babe Ruth by hitting the game ending worm burner (hit) through the whole at second. Tolmie had three hits for the day while Ryan Deitz, Mike McFerran, and McKenna each had two dingers. Decenzo and Phillips each added one hit. Mike Matrese didn't let an injury stop him from cheering on his team and his spirit helped carry the team. We all look forward to the sunny day that he returns to third! Donald Henzel scored the winning run and shows more and more grit as the season goes along. In true spirit he captures the essence of the team. There is not one ounce of quit on him or the team. Go Commonwealth! You boys are making everyone in the league proud. Our games have all been exceptional. Central is having an awesome year. Thanks in large part to the Commonwealth Boys! I struggle sometimes to put in words why or what I am supposed to teach as a baseball coach. Well, the boys helped me verbalize my thoughts. As a person or a team of people we should Never, Never, Never quit! And, If you Hustle (work hard), you will succeed! Coach
