The S.S. Foods squad put forth a great effort but ultimately came up short against a solid defensive team in Mel Carr. Joseph DeAngelis was clutch at the plate going 2 for 2 with a double to start the 2nd, only to be tagged out in a great double play to end our rallly before it started. The bats got going in the 4th and the game was tied at 1, but Mel Carr had a big inning at the plate and put up 4 runs in the bottom of the inning to pull away.
