Note: Be very careful when deleting games from InGS.  Any corresponding game results that have been entered for games that are deleted from the schedule may also be lost.  In general, do not delete games from the schedule.  Instead, you should update the schedule and indicate that a game has been cancelled or rescheduled.

How Schedules are Kept      BACK   TOP   INDEX

Schedules are maintained in an InGoodStandings (InGS) database.  Your are given a series of administrator web pages which provide the functions needed to quickly and easily enter or change your schedule information.  Through the Season administration pages, you can set options which hide the schedule for the current season.  This comes in handy when you are building and re-arranging your initial schedule.

Anyone can be authorized to update the schedules either at the league, season or division level.  By default, those authorized as "administrators" at any level also has the authority to update the schedules at that level.

The initial entry of the schedules can be a somewhat tedious chore, but you'll find that once you enter a few games, the remainder are entered quickly.  Before the initial schedules can be entered, you should create your division and team structure, and assure that you've entered all playing fields into InGS.
