The Saratoga 8U All-Stars registered their second win today with a victory over Amsterdam by a score of 13-4. Saratoga pounded out 12 hits, and limited Amsterdam to 4 runs behind a combined 6 hit, 7 strikeout pitching effort by Aidan Holmes, Gordon Hogben, Christian Kondo, and solid defense. Kondo also scored three times, and Hogben, and Brad Hipsley each had 4 RBI's. Corey Wurl, Will Bonacio, Peter O'Toole, and Chris James all had hits in the game. A three run sixth inning was sparked by an inside the park home run by Evan Farr!
