Saratoga		North Colonie 2
Colonie2 hung in for a nice come from behind victory. Saratoga played a solid game on defense. Outstanding catches by D. Slieght, M. Triola. Saratoga turned a nice DP in the second inning also. Saratoga was led in hitting by D. Slieght (2), D. Romano (2) and C Wurl, K Wurl, B. Scammell, Kevin Z, M. Triola and J. Cairns all contributing singles. Thank You Colonie for hosting.		Great job NC RED! Good pitching and timely hitting led to an exciting win over the Saratoga All-Stars! The pitching of Derek Becker,Trent Rogers and Will Zajesky held a good hitting Saratoga team to 6 hits (I don't count errors as hits). With the score 6-5 in the bottom of the 6th in Saratoga's favor, North Colonie had to face Saratoga's best pitcher/closer. North Colonie was ready for the challenge as John Sweeney and Jimmy Rohenaz had 2 perfect bunt singles which set the stage for leadoff hitter Derek Becker. With the runners on 2nd and 3rd and the game on the line, Derek crushed a game winning double over the right center fielders' head for the walkoff win. Another great comeback win by the North Colonie 2 boys!!!! Best of luck to Saratoga! ~Coach Rogers
